Onamika

Onamika is studying in class/grade 8. He is 14 years old. Her family migrated from Chandpur (another district) to Dhaka (capital city) in 2004 for work and to assist the children's study.

Khorshed Alam is Onamika’s father. He is a 53-year-old, working as a rickshaw puller. Her mother Panna is a 33-year-old house worker. Onamika has 3 brothers.

Her parents both earn around 150 USD per month. They are residing in a single room of a tin shed house. She has no table for study.

Onamika wants to become a doctor. This is her aim and dream. She is the best student in his class. Reading books is her hobby. She likes studying books. She dislikes playing.

Onamika is studying conscientiously and doing well in her exams. She is hoping to achieve a scholarship from any source. Otherwise, Onamika’s poor parents can no longer afford the expenditure to fulfill Onamika’s dream.
