Srabanti Akter

Srabanti Akter is a student of class/grade 1. She is a seven year old slum girl. Her family came from Brahmanbaria (another district) to Dhaka (capital city) in the year 2011 to seek work and for a better livelihood.

Her father is Motalib Mia, a forty years old day laborer. Thirty five year old Sabina Akter is her mother. She is a garment worker. Srabanti one sister only.

The total family income is about USD 150 per month. They are living in a room of a tin shed house and they sleep both on a bed. They use two toilet sharing within four families.

Srabanti wants to be a police woman. She wants to serve people. Traveling is Srabanti’s hobby. She likes reading books. She dislikes fighting.

Srabanti’s dream and aim comply with her result. She is a cute little polite and smart girl hopes to get some financial support for her study. It will be a great step to make her a Police-woman.
