Majidul Islam

Twelve years old Majidul Islam is studying in class 5 at Educo Pathshala. His family migrated to Dhaka from Chadpur in the year 2002 in search of job and better living.

A shop keeper of forty two years old Tafajjal Hossain is his father. His mother’s name is Alima Begum. She is thirty eight years old housewife. Majidul has a beother named Sajeb Islam, he is also a student.

Majidul’s father earns about USD90 per month. They are living in a single tin shed house in a slum. They use both floor and bed for sleeping. Water penetrates if it rains and feels cold in winter. Majidul has no table to study. They use a toilet sharing with four families.

Majidul Islam wants to be a pilot. It is his dream and aim. His hobby is reading different types of comic books. He likes playing football. This is his 5thgrade final in this year he will appear for PSC board examination. He hopes to obtain a GPA 5+.

Majidul is hopeful to reach his goal to be a pilot. She is hopeful of receiving some necessary financial assistance.
