Maria Akter Liza

Maria Akter Liza is a six year old girl studying in class/grade 1^st. Her father is Mr. Liton Sardar, a 34 years old car driver. Her mother, Mrs. Monira Begum is a twenty five years old house wife. Maria has one brother named Talha.

Her father is the only earning member of their family. He earns about USD 100 per month. They are living in a single room of a Tin Shed house. There is only a Toilet for four families. Maria has no table & chair for her study.

Maria wants to be a Doctor in the future. She is very sympathetic to poor sick people. Her parents earnestly hope that Maria can fulfill her dream. But her father must earn more for her better education. She likes her study very much. After finishing her homework, Maria watches TV in her leisure time. She also plays with her friends. She doesn’t like to tell a lie.

Maria’s parents know well that it will be very tough to fulfill their daughter’s aim with this little money. So her mother wants to start work either in a Garments Factory or as a house keeper. It will be a blessing for them if Maria gets any financial help from any other source.
